We’re delighted to share that PS Tech has been named as a finalist in the Customer Service Award category at the Uckfield Business Awards 2026.

The Awards celebrate the businesses and people that contribute to Uckfield and the surrounding area, recognising achievement across a wide range of sectors and categories.

For us, being shortlisted is something we’re particularly proud of because customer service sits at the heart of how we want PS Tech to operate.

Celebrating Uckfield’s business community

The Uckfield Business Awards have been celebrating local businesses since 2012 and have become an established part of the local business calendar.

Organised by the Uckfield Chamber of Commerce, the Awards bring together businesses from Uckfield and the surrounding area to recognise the work being done across the local economy, from established organisations to smaller businesses and individuals making a difference.

The Chamber itself plays an important role in bringing local businesses together through networking, events and opportunities to build stronger connections across the area.

As a Uckfield-based business, it makes being recognised through a local award especially meaningful to us.

Why the Customer Service Award is so important to us

Customer service is something we talk about very deliberately in our own core values.

Our first value is Powered by People. Technology is obviously central to what we do, but great service ultimately depends on the people delivering it. That means taking ownership, doing what we say we’ll do and building genuine relationships with customers rather than treating support as a ticket-processing exercise.

For our customers, that also means being able to trust us to act in their best interests, explain decisions in plain English and remain accountable from start to finish.

Another of our core values is Committed to Service Excellence. We aim to provide a service that is reliable, responsive and focused on outcomes. In practice, that means resolving issues properly and helping our customers get on with running their organisations, with a focus on the things that really matter to them, including uptime, security, continuity and a smoother day-to-day experience for their teams.

Those values shape the standard we set for ourselves, so being selected as a finalist in the Customer Service Award category means a great deal to everyone at PS Tech.

Looking ahead to the Awards

The winners will be announced at the Uckfield Business Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday 1 October 2026 at East Sussex National Hotel.

The evening brings together finalists, sponsors and members of the local business community to celebrate this year’s achievements and announce the winners across each of the award categories.

We’re looking forward to being there alongside so many other local businesses and individuals who have reached the finals.
